Alberto Mantovani, Pier Mingotti e Simone C. Pirazzoli formano "SKIN4" nel 1996 e, prodotti da IRMA Records, sono precursori del genere che qualche anno più tardi verrà definito Chill-Out o Trip-Pop.
Distribuiti in oltre trenta Paesi anche attraverso le numerose compilations del settore, realizzano inoltre i due Singoli "Anticipating" e "Freeway of love" con la cantante statunitense Qeen Ann.
